April Vacation to Utah Natl Parks

April 19-26
7 days, 6 nights, 2440 miles
Seeing the sites of Utah
Park City, Moab/Arches, Monument Valley, Glen Canyon/Lake Powell, and Bryce Canyon
Beautiful...not restful
Camped five nights, with our coldest night reaching 27 degrees and another night being blasted by sand from high winds...not all bad though, we enjoyed some campfire times with camp food and Smore's to the boys great delight; stayed with dear friends in Salt Lake that we knew back from our months of living in Vegas (possibly the only non-Mormons around (definitely in the severe minority))...and spent our final night at a lovely Hampton Inn in Twin Falls, ID.

So much color and variation in these rocks  A 2D picture just can't do it justice

Hoodoo is the name for this geological formations caused by the intense erosion of Bryce Canyon

I see Pharoah in this Hoodoo... :o)

I found it interesting how much my brain would find faces in the rock.  It must be trying to create some sort of semblance of it all and thus faces just pop out everywhere in the shadows of the rocks.
