I haven't been taking many pictures lately, so the posts have been few, but here are some pics from New Years weekend in Illinois. The month of January has been busy for Janelle and I, as she just completed quarterly grades, and I am back to a full surgery schedule. This past Wednesday we got to take in our first Detroit Red Wings game, as one of the doc's gave us tickets. I have this weekend off so we are going to the International Auto Show! A true Detroit experience.

The above pics are from a light show in Peoria IL that Janelle and I enjoyed with her relatives over New Years weekend, so if you are ever in Peoria... :o)

Janelle with Solverson ladies, enjoying Chicago's Magnificent Mile (aka. Michigan Avenue) and the original Marshall Fields with its extravagant seven floors of shopper's bliss.

Christmas Eve for Seth & Janelle

Began with cooking a feast together:
Cornish game hens, Asian Fusion salad, Wild Rice with Wild Mushroom/Brandy Sauce, Pecan Pie, and Creme Brulee

After Dinner went to the Detroit version of Rockafeller Center (Campus Martius Park) and watched the ice skaters and enjoyed the city lights adjacent to the Hard Rock Cafe and Christmas Tree

Finished out the evening with a Christmas Eve service at our church in Wyandotte
