Christmas Eve Dinner

True to Lambert fashion...I have to describe the food, take pictures of the food, and yes constantly remind myself that food can become an idol (see Passionate Homemaking Blogs).

In 1985 the term "gastroporn" was used for the first time in writing, and has since become a real word used frequently since 2007 for describing the succulent world of gourmet cooking and food photography.

Thus...Our Menu
Braised & Boiled Beef Rump Roast, raised at the Full Quiver Farm,
with sides of Brown Mustard & Cornichon Pickles

Oven Roasted Organic Golden Beets

Homemade Sourdough Bread

Garlic & Walnut Oil Sauteed Mix Greens
(Swiss chard, beet greens, and mustard greens)

Roasted Garlic, Green Onion & Creme Fraiche Purple Mashed Potatoes

Hearts of Romaine with Sharp White Cheddar Cheese & Walnut Oil/Dijon Mustard Dressing

Kumquat and Pomegranate
