Some snapshots of my nieces and nephews (& Janelle) as I flew to the NW for a very quick 72 hr visit last week

We try all kinds of foods with Thaddeus, so far he likes or at least tolerates brussel sprouts, limes, Pho, and here trying a grapefruit...

His staples (which he loves) are Avocado, Egg yolk, sweet potato, pea soup, apple sauce, banana & blueberries

With the single coinciding day off for Trung and I during the month of January, we all four (Janelle & Thad) hightailed it out of Vegas to take in the beauty of Zion National Park in the snow.

So Janelle, Thad and I went out to Red Rock to explore and...well... Thad & I got inspired by some rock climbers and thus Thad got his 4th lesson.

After 18 straight days of work I got three days off this weekend, so Janelle made great plans for us to experience more of what Las Vegas has to offer...We went to Ethel M's (Mars) chocolate factory, the cactus gardens, and to the beautiful Mt Charleston Hotel, which is at 8000 ft and has snow and ice.
